‘Community Cuppa’

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr Rose Rickford as our guest speaker for our Community Cuppa on the 15th November.

Rose, our Research Associate, was awarded her PhD by the University of York for a thesis on a topic that couldn’t be more significant for our work, with this title:

What are the characteristics of organisations that are able to meet need and support flourishing? An explanatory account of grassroots community organising in England and Wales during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Rose is preparing a report for Public World drawing out the main themes and findings of her research, so watch this space for news of that in the coming weeks. In November’s Community Cuppa you can find out more and explore what this means for the ways in which public service organisations relate to the communities they serve.
