Group Programmes
Basics of self-organisation group programme – date for next cohort coming soon!
In this introduction to the basics of self-organisation you’ll learn the basic principles of self-organising teamwork and the importance of knowing your ‘why‘ and having a framework to guide the work of self-organising teams.
Distilled from our 30 years of study and practical experience across the world, our engaging online modules and interactive workshops can help your organisation or team:
- Clarify your purpose and accomplish it more consistently
- Improve staff recruitment, retention and satisfaction
- Use existing resources more effectively and reduce waste
We’ve supported 50+ health, care and social housing organisations in Britain since 2015. Drawing on what has worked well — and what hasn’t! — we’ll help you find the right solutions for your own particular purpose and context.
- Starting by exploring the basic principles of self-organisation, you’ll go ever more deeply into the practicalities of making it work for you.
- Learn how your people can combine greater professional autonomy and accountability within a clear and simple framework of standards.
- Discover how Buurtzorg, our partner for eight years, became the leading Dutch community care provider — and why just copying their model won’t work!
How does the programme work?
The programme consists of six themed e-learning courses and three online interactive workshops facilitated by members of our experienced team.
The online courses each require an average of about an hour of study, at times suited to your schedule, and each workshop goes at a lively pace for two hours.
The e-learning material can be accessed on whatever device suits you best, so you can study at your desk, at home or on the move, breaking off and continuing as needed.
The workshops – one to kick off the double programme, another at the halfway stage and the third at the end to help you plan next steps — use interactive tools to capture ideas, draw up plans and make it easy to share your work with your wider organisation.
